Afghans listen to their protectors

LAGHMAN PROVINCE, Afghanistan – Afghan National Army and coalition forces conducted a joint patrol along a local Road in order to disrupt insurgent improvised explosive emplacement, March 10. Nearby, ANA forces conduct a cordon and search mission for known a known Taliban commander and IED material, March 9.

Despite insurgent threats, Afghan military leaders are stepping forward and speaking directly to the public regarding their plans for better security.
