PAKTYA PROVINCE, Afghanistan – Tyler, Texas native, U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Laura E. Goodgame, a photography advisor to the public affairs office for the Afghan National Army’s 203rd Thunder Corps on Forward Operating Base Thunder near Gardez City in Afghanistan’s Paktya province, reviews the photos of ANA Staff Sgt. Abdul Raouf, the non-commissioned officer in-charge of the 203rd’s PA office. The pair photographed an exercise involving ANA Commandos as part of the media training for the Soldiers in the 203rd’s PA office. Goodgame and the other members of the Public Affairs Advisory Team on FOB Lightning train their ANA counterparts daily on photography, videography, Adobe Photoshop and other essential public affairs skills.
