ISAF helicopter makes emergency landing in Kunar province

KUNAR PROVINCE, Afghanistan – An ISAF helicopter was involved in a hard landing June 25 in Kunar province in eastern Afghanistan.

There were no fatalities in the incident, and all personnel on board have been evacuated to nearby ISAF medical treatment facilities.

Reports indicate the helicopter developed mechanical problems and the pilot was forced to make an emergency landing. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
