BAGRAM, Afghanistan – Afghan and coalition forces detained one insurgent and cleared four improvised explosive devices during operations in eastern Afghanistan throughout the past 24 hours, July 30.

Ghazni Province

Afghan National Security Forces and coalition forces found and safely cleared two IEDs in Andar District.

Paktya Province

Afghan National Security Forces and coalition forces detained an insurgent during an engagement in Zurmat District. The detained suspect was transferred to a base for questioning.

Wardak Province

Afghan National Security Forces and coalition forces found and safely cleared two IEDs in Sayyidabad District
