Night Convoy down Highway 1

GHAZNI PROVINCE, Afghanistan - U.S. Army mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles belonging to the Louisiana National Guard's 1086th Transportation Company, Task Force Muleskinner, line up for a convoy from Forward Operating Base Warrior to FOB Ghazni May 22. The unit was the combat escort for 16 host nation vehicles on the convoy, which lasted four nights and took them 400 miles, from Bagram Airfield to FOB Warrior and back on one of Afghanistan's most dangerous roads, Highway 1.
