U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Travis Holibaugh is a Combat Engineer assigned to Alpha Company, 425th BSTB.  He has displayed commitment to mission accomplishment, selfless service and substantial personal contributions to the success of the Alpha Company Partnership Mission.  He currently serves as team leader of the two man Embedded Training Team advising RCC/1/203rd Corp ANA.

Staff Sgt. Holibaugh leads a two man ETT that assists the RCC with planning and training for Route Clearance missions to support the 1st BDE 203rd Corp ANA.  He works directly with the Unit Commander, First Sergeant and NCOs of the Unit to develop a competent fighting force capable of taking on the CIED fight in Afghanistan.   His efforts have lead the RCC to conducting their own unilateral patrols in support of ANA lead operations.  He has enabled the RCC to increase the mission readiness rating of their vehicles to over 60 percent; doubling their route clearance capability.

Staff Sgt. Holibaugh has worked tirelessly in his position to ensure that the “ANSF In The Lead” initiative is carried out to its fullest extent. His efforts have been instrumental in ensuring the RCC is properly trained and prepared to carry out their mission.
