Khost Province undergoes hospital evaluation

KHOST PROVINCE, Afghanistan – Dr. Abdullah Fahim, Afghan Ministry of Public Health senior facility approving official, and Dr. Amir Badshah Reahmatzai Mangal, Khost Province health director, review documentation showing the strength and quality of the new provincial hospital foundation Aug. 30. A team of Afghan officials, engineers, as well as representatives from U.S. Agency for International Development traveled from Kabul to evaluate the facility and report on the quality. The team was impressed with the construction and eager for the people of Khost Province to benefit from the higher level of care the new hospital will provide.
