Afghan firefighters attend medical training

KHOST PROVINCE, Afghanistan – Members of the Khost province firefighter team attend medical training for emergency care Aug. 23. The two-week training, which was slated to run from Aug. 22 through Sept. 1, will provide the firefighters with the basic medical knowledge to render emergency care to victims at the scene of a fire or other accidents. The training was set up through the Khost Provincial Reconstruction Team and is part of a continued mentoring program led by members of the PRT. (Photo by U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Julianne M.
