Scaparrotti (right), commander of Combined Joint Task Force-82 and Regional Command East, receives the Légion d'honneur, or the National Order of the Legion of Honor, from French Brig. Gen. Pierre Chavancy, Task Force Lafayette commander, June 1. General Chavancy presented this award to General Scaparrotti on behalf of President Nicolas Sarkozy of France.
