GHAZNI PROVINCE, Afghanistan – Faizulla Paia, Chairman of the Ghazni Provincial Council from Qarabagh district, listens to Ghazni Provincial Reconstruction Team and Agribusiness Development Team members, April 25, at Forward Operating Base Ghazni. He and five other Provincial Council members visited to learn about the different projects currently ongoing within Ghazni’s 19 districts. On the list for discussion were roads, clinics, schools, vocational and feeding programs, agricultural development, hydropower, poultry and livestock training, and more. This was the first time the PRT and ADT, along with members from the U.S. Agency for International Development and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, met with the council to explain ongoing projects in the province.
