PAKTIA PROVINCE, Afghanistan – An Afghan National Army Soldier and Air Force Maj. (Dr.) Jana S. Kokkonen of San Luis Obispo, Calif., U.S. Air Force Capt. Teresa A. Dunn of Aston, Pa., and Tech Sgt. Ryan Harding of Laotto, Ind., an emergency room physician, nurse and medic, respectively, with the Medical Embedded Training Team on Forward Operating Base Thunder carry a wounded Afghan National Army Soldier from a medical helicopter to a waiting ambulance there, March 11.
