KONAR PROVINCE, Afghanistan – “Voice of the Pech” radio station reporters, Afghan National Police, and local government officials worked together to produce and distribute more than 2,000 CDs, March 4.
The CDs, which can be downloaded onto cell phones, highlighted the recent successes of the local sub-government, the Afghan National Army and the ANP.
Also, in nearby Kandigal Village, ANA and coalition forces assisted villagers in repairing a roof that was damaged by insurgents, Feb. 25.
Tarps, cement and scrap wood were provided by ANA and the coalition for the repair job.
