KAPISA PROVINCE, Afghanistan– French Admiral Edouard Guillaud (left), the French forces’ chief of staff, congratulates U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Dan Allyn, Regional Command-East, Combined Joint Task Force-1 commanding general,  after presenting him with the French Legion of Honor.  The award is one of the highest decorations in France and is divided into five various degrees. Allyn, the commander of Regional Command-East was promoted Knight of the Legion of Honor.
