ISAF forces target militants in Logar province

KABUL, Afghanistan (April 3, 2009) – Four insurgents were killed by ISAF forces after they were spotted placing an IED near the town of Baraki Rajan in Logar province April 2.

AH64 gunships and close-air support were used to target the militants in a field away from all buildings after they fled the IED site and positive identification of weapons was made.

No collateral damage to buildings or injuries to civilians were reported.
