KABUL, Afghanistan — Service members at Camp Eggers shared breakfast with Rep. John P. Murtha, D-Pa, House of Appropriations Committee-Defense Subcommittee delegation during a visit on Nov. 30, to Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan headquarters.

Service members from the state of Pennsylvania had the opportunity to ask questions of their representative. Murtha talked to the military members on various subjects such as Stop-Loss and Tri-Care.

CSTC-A provides advisors, mentors and trainers to help the Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Interior to organize, train, equip, employ and support the Afghan National Security Forces in order to defeat the insurgency, provide internal security, extend and enforce the rule of law, set conditions for economic development, and gain the trust and confidence of the citizens of Afghanistan.
