BAGRAM AIR FIELD, Afghanistan (July 2, 2008) –- A Coalition helicopter was shot down by small-arms fire in Kherwar District, Logar province, earlier this morning.
The pilots safely landed the aircraft and evacuate all personnel before the aircraft caught on fire.
There were no serious injuries to the crew or passengers.
This incident is still under investigation.
